The barrel-selection wine of the Kardos Estate.,It is a
limited-release premium dry wine made of the very best barrels. It
carries the unmistakeable hallmarks of the highly unique Mad terroir.
It has an multi-layered fruity aroma with beautiful minerality.
Extremely concentrated and highly varietal wine with great length.

Winemaking

We harvested the grapes in November at the same time as we did for the
Aszu with 24 Brix.

Tasting notes

Its aromatics are dominated by the typical Furmint notes of quince and
apple. It shows a touch of Botrytis to make the character even more
exciting. The elegantly toasted oak blends in with the fruit without
overpowering it. On the palate it has the generous mineral flavours
and lovely mouthfeel typical of the Betsek block. It is a full-bodied,
concentrated wine with a superb balance.
